Description:
A stylized pottery-type design that includes two running deer that are facing each other. There is a tree-like design between them. They are gray and black and have a red arrow running from their mouth to the middle of their torsos. They are in the upper half of the painting. Below the deer, there are two identical designs that are mirror images of each other. Below these, there is a scalloped design. The background is gray green and the colors used in the design are brown, orange, gray and black.

Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow at the Oke Oweenge Crafts Cooperative, San Juan Pueblo, NM, March 27, 1992. This painting is one of three of Ms. Montoya's paintings purchased at the time. The other paintings were "Rain Makers" (jmz.498) and "Long Hair Dancer" (jmz.500).
