Gifted to Mr. and Mrs. Jack Zarrow by Ralph Love. The Zarrows own the original oil painting (see jmz.113). On the bottom of the reproduction in pencil: "To Maxine and Jack Zarrow who own my original painting, 'After the Gold Rush.'" The Certificate of Authenticity is glued to the dust cover: "Title 'After the Gold Rush'; Artist: Ralph Love; Total Edition Size: 962; Printed at Lake Shore Litho, Chicago in 1978/79."
