In an envelope taped to the dust cover: "'Royce' was created by Gordon Snidow especially for the third annual Gilcrease Rendezvous, 1981, sponsored by the Gilcrease Museum Association, Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is number 125 of the signed limited edition print."
