He is wearing pantaloons with green printed garters and a long tan shirt with pink ruffles at the hem, cuffs and shoulder seams. The strap of a beaded blue bandoleer bag is hanging across his chest, while the bag is resting on his right hip.

Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow at the Gentry Gallery, Tulsa, OK, October 31, 1980. The gallery and the McDonnell Douglas Tulsa Management Club held this exhibition as a fundraiser for the Oklahoma Indian Art Program's scholarship fund. On a sticker on the dust cover: "Z-6; fife; 'Trader on Rock.'" On the dust cover: "Z-6; Fife; 'Trader on Rock,' Z-7."
