A painting of two ceremonial figures. The figure on the left is dancing and holding out two feathers toward stylized clouds. He is facing right and wearing a sash and a kilt that are both hand-woven and embroidered. The figure on the right is facing left. He is blowing on a long flute or pipe that is pointed toward what appears to be a spring. He is wrapped in an embroidered blanket and is wearing leather leggings.

Provenance:
Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow at the Hansen Gallery, Santa Fe, NM, February 25, 1991. The painting was from the estate of Ernest Blumenshein (1874-1960). At his death, his daughter, Helen Blumenshein (1909-1989) inherited it. At her death, it went to a cousin who lived in Santa Fe and was then purchased from her by the Hansen Gallery in 1990.
