Data from the artist: "Tempera; Art size: 7" X 12"; Date painted: 1979; This depicts an Osage family in their wagon, going to town, just as a well comes in, frightening the horses. Taped to the dust cover: "Echohawk Artist... 'Oil and the Osage.'"
