- Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow via mail from James Conlon at Dewey Galleries, Ltd., Santa Fe, NM, September 18, 1991. This painting is one of four purchased at the time. The others were a Tonit Pena and two Joe Herreras. On a sticker on the dust cover reads: "'Prize Of The Rich' Allan Houser 1950 w/c 13 1/2 X 12 5/8, number AISS 001..."
