- Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow at the Art Market, Tulsa, OK, September 27, 1981. On the invoice: "Painting of Austin Doolittle, working cowboy from Seminole, Texas." From a phone call made by Jack Zarrow to Bob Annesley, February 8, 1999: Bob remembered the drawing and stated that the subject was Austin Doolittle of Seminole, Texas. At 76 years of age, he was the oldest working cowboy in Texas when the painting was done in 1981.
