Description:
A painting of a Navajo silversmith at work. He is turned to the right with his head facing the viewer. He is seated cross-legged on the ground as he hammers a piece of silver that is laying on an anvil. He has a band tied around his forehead and is wearing a blue shirt and tan pants. Silver concha belts, silver horse bridle parts and silver necklaces are hanging on a bush behind him. There are sandstone molds on the ground in front of him and to his right. A fireplace for heating the silver is in front of him. A bellows is lying on the ground by his right knee.
