Untitled (Two male, one female Pueblo dancers)
Description:
A painting of three Pueblo buffalo dancers consisting of two men and one woman. The woman is in the center of the painting and is facing left with her head turned toward the viewer. She is wearing a traditional handwoven embroidered one-shoulder dress and a red handwoven belt. She is holding two feathers in each hand. The male dancers on either side of her are wearing handwoven embroidered armbands and kilts, and buffalo headdresses. The handwoven garments are white with red, green, blue and black embroidery. The male dancers are holding rattles in their right hands and two feathers in their left hands. In addition, they are wearing bands of bells around their waists and lower legs. The dancer on the left is facing the viewer and the dancer on the right has his back to the viewer. All three dancers have their left foot raised as they dance.
