- Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow from Sam S. and Patsy Smith, Houston, TX, May 1981. This painting is one of three by Gonske purchased from the Smiths. The other two paintings were "The Houndstooth Taos" (jmz.155) and "Taos Man" (jmz.130). The Smiths had purchased the paintings directly from Gonske, circa 1978. This painting was exhibited at the Thomas Gilcrease Museum of American History and Art, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 'Tulsans Collect,' February 16 - April 15, 1990. (B.90.88.C)."
