A painting of a Plains Native American scaffold burial. The scaffold is in the center of the painting and is on a raised area. Hanging from the scaffold are a feathered war bonnet, a shield and a pipe bag. At the base of the raised area are three figures. In the center is a woman wrapped in a blanket and standing with her back to the viewer. On the left is a boy, and on the right is a girl. Both are kneeling and facing the woman.
