Long Hair Hopi Kachina
Description:
A painting of two identical dancers dressed as Hopi Long Hair Kachina facing the viewer. They are wearing a longhair mask, handwoven and embroidered kilts tied with a handwoven black, green and red sash, and dance boots. They are also wearing two large bells tied to their calves just below their left knees and yellow body paint. A fox skin is hanging down the back of their kilts and can be seen behind their legs. They are each wearing a bow guard on their left wrist and holding an evergreen bough in their left hand and a gourd rattle in their right hand. "Hopi Kachinas" is written at the bottom of the painting.
