- Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow from Brummett Echohawk, Tulsa, OK, July 8, 1980. This painting was one of twenty purchased from Brummett at the time. On the receipt: "'Prairie Bandit,' tempera, Art size 6" X 10", Date painted: 1978, 'This coyote was seen hanging from a fence post on a bald prairie east of Red Rock, Oklahoma.'" On the backing: "'Prairie Bandit,' Echohawk, artist...."
