Description:
A portrait of the head and shoulders of a Native American man. He is facing the viewer with his head turned slightly to the left. He is wearing what looks like a bear's claw in his hair on the left side. A small braid is hanging down from where the claw is attached. He is also wearing a brown vest over a gray shirt. At his throat is a large disk, perhaps a shell, on a leather thong. This drawing is done on aqua mat board.

Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow at the Art Market, Tulsa, OK, October 10, 1979. This drawing was one of two by Mr. Watkins purchased at the time. The other drawing was "Iron Sack, Chief of Kiowa-Apache." On a card taped to the dust cover: "'Mow-Way 1871 Comanche'" (on reverse) "The Art Market, Tulsa, OK."
