Provenance:
Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow in Accra, Ghana, Africa, circa 1978. Mr. Zarrow wanted some paintings of the Ghanaian culture, and his friend, Bill St. Johns, acquired four paintings by A. O. Bartimeus for him. Mr. Zarrow later learned that A. O. Bartimeus was one of the leading artists in Ghana.
