A non-realistic painting of a woman in a full, gathered, blue-and-green skirt riding a paint horse without a saddle. The woman and the horse are facing left. The horse appears to be rearing as the woman strikes him with a quirt, which she is holding above her head in her right hand. She is holding the single rein in her left hand. On the horse's left flank, there appears to be a brand: NA.
