- Description:
- A painting of a dancing kachina wearing a mask and facing the viewer. His mask has a long, black, pointed beak, a green face, red "ears" and feathers on top. In addition, it has a ruff or collar of spruce branches. The dancer also has numerous green, yellow and red circles painted on his body. He is wearing straps across, a breechclout held up with a red, green and black handwoven belt, bands of bells around his calves and hard-soled dance boots. His head is cocked slightly to the left and his left arm is raised at shoulder height.

Data provided by Gallery 10, Inc.: "EX. Jerrold Collings collection, Sedona, AZ. Acquired by Mr. Collings from Dr. Robert Nelson, Scottsdale, AZ, who owned the paintings for approximately 20 years."
