A painting of a man facing left and wearing a black hood with white dots on it. He is also wearing a red shirt, a buckskin kilt with metal tinklers along the hem, beaded yellow leggings and moccasins. The head of a deer is hanging down his back and he is wearing a quiver full of arrows on the back of his right shoulder. In his left hand, which is hanging at his side, he is holding a bow and in his right hand, he is holding a spruce bough that has badly faded due to sun exposure.

Sold by Ms. List to John Hill, Phoenix, AZ, from whom a collection of American Indian material was acquired by Gallery 10."
