- A painting of three Plains Native Americans on horses. They appear to be riding at a canter and are facing slightly left. The horse on the right is green, the middle horse is a gray and white paint and the horse on the left is olive-colored. The rider on the right is wearing a war bonnet and has a shield painted with a wolf head fastened to his left arm. The center rider has a shield painted with a buffalo head on his left arm and holds a staff decorated with feathers in his right hand. The rider on the left holds a bow in the air with his right hand.

- Purchased by Jack and Maxine Zarrow at the Art Market, Tulsa, OK, December 18, 1992. On the dust cover: "Untitled; tempera; about 1939; Cecil Dick, artist Cherokee Died 1992; 13 X 19." On a note in the artist's file: "This Cecil Dick painting was part of an Albuquerque collection that was sold in 1992. There was also an Alan Houser and an Archie Blackowl painting in the collection. The Houser and the Blackowl were dated '39 and '40. The collectors left written information that the three paintings were purchased at the Santa Fe Indian - Dunn school in 1939 and 1940. They indicated that this piece was 1939. Linda Greever 1/93 (the Art Market, Tulsa, OK) Cecil Dick, Artist Cherokee 13" X 19" untitled, circa 1939, tempera. Artist died in 1992. Property of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Zarrow...."
