A painting of a Sioux woman sitting on a paint horse that is drinking water in the middle of a stream. A bay horse, with a travois strapped to it, is behind the first horse and is also drinking. The paint faces to the right and the bay to the left. The woman is holding a child in her arms and they are both wrapped in a tanned and beaded buffalo robe. It is a cloudy day.
